CORPORATE BASKETBALL DAY
HOOPATLANTA is only possible with the support of our corporate community. This year we have created a way for the corporate community to support our efforts and create a fun wellness opportunity for their employees, friends and family. HOOPATLANTA will offer an opportunity for organizations to have their own corporate basketball day on branded, dedicated basketball courts. The basketball court package will include the following:
- Logo based artwork on backboard
- Two (2) logo placements on playing surface
- Colored carpet surrounding your court to match your company colors
- Your organization's branded table cover with one (1) 6ft court monitor table
- Court official and court monitor
- Basketball and all other tournament accessories

WHAT IS THE COST?
The cost for each court must be pre-paid and will include the registration fees for up to ten (10) teams and the customization of the court. This will be a tax-deductible donation from The Health Education & Communication Center of Atlanta (HECCA), a 501(c)(3) organization.
- One (1) basketball court - $2,895.00
- Two (2) basketball courts - $4,921.50 (15% discount)
- Three (3) basketball courts - $7,121.67 (18% discount)
- Four (4) basketball courts - $9,264.00 (20% discount)
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- STEP 1:
- The company captain must determine how many courts their company would like to have. Each court can host anywhere from 6-10 teams and the courts can be designated to host a youth, corporate challenge or Dads & Daughters tournament. It is your choice. Once this decision is made the company captain must go to www.hoopatlanta.com and complete the online HOOPATLANTA Corporate Basketball Day Reservation form on the Corporate Basketball Day tab.
- STEP 2:
- Once the online registration has been completed and payment has been received:
- HOOPATLANTA administration will provide a mandatory Court Team Name Prefix for teams on each court purchased. EXAMPLE: ABC Corporation has purchased two (2) courts. Teams on court 1 will have the team name prefix 'ABC1' and teams on court 2 will have the prefix 'ABC2'. So, the first team on court 1 could have the name ABC1 Raiders and team 2 on court 1 could have the name ABC2 Falcons.
- A promotional code will be sent that will allow up to ten (10) teams to register for each court purchased. Teams can be added until the tournament's registration end date, which is April 5th.
- HOOPATLANTA administration will provide a mandatory Court Team Name Prefix for teams on each court purchased. EXAMPLE: ABC Corporation has purchased two (2) courts. Teams on court 1 will have the team name prefix 'ABC1' and teams on court 2 will have the prefix ABC2'. So the first team on court 1 could have the name ABC1 Raiders and team 2 on court 1 could have the name ABC1 Falcons. The prefix must be the same. This team name will be entered during the registration process.
- The company captain has a very important responsibility at this point. They must send the promotional code and the correct Court Team Name Prefix to the appropriate participating teams based on their assigned court.
- STEP 3:
- Once teams receive their promotional code and their Court Team Name Prefix, they must register at www.hoopatlanta.com for the tournament occurring on their designated court before April 5, 2011.
- STEP 4:
- Company captains must send backboard artwork and a hi-resolution logo (300 dpi in a vector format) to HOOPATLANTA administration for your court customization by April 1, 2011. The backboard dimensions are 54 "x 36".
- STEP 5:
- Once a team is completely registered and the team captain has received a team confirmation by email, one player from each team must come to the HOOPATLANTA Team Check-in event. At this event, the team member will pick-up the Player's Registration Bag for each player's complete with Converse jersey/short set, drawstring bag, mandatory player ID bracelet and other cool items. Please go to www.hoopatlanta.com to see additional information about the Team Check-in event. THE TEAM CHECK-IN EVENT IS MANDATORY FOR ALL TEAMS!
- STEP 6:
- On April 22nd, each team will need to go to www.hoopatlanta.com to find their court location number and the first game start time.
