HECCA and Converse Brings Basketball to Piedmont Park
We are pleased to announce the Converse HOOPATLANTA Bounce Back Program latest project recipient. Along with our partner Converse, we are excited to bring the first basketball courts to Atlantašs greatest park, Piedmont Park.
Piedmont Park, Atlantašs ŗCommon Ground˛ since 1904, is located approximately 2 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta and is growing to be one of the largest parks in the southeast.
Essential to restoring a community's sense of place are its parks. A new infusion of thought, talent, money and effort is needed to return our public realm to world-class status for the benefit of all Atlantans. In November 2010, an amazing basketball amenity will be added to help make this a reality.
